At StampStory, we strive to ensure that your shopping experience is smooth and satisfying. However, if you need to cancel an order, request a return, or initiate an exchange, this policy provides clear guidelines for each process. Please read the details carefully.


1. Order Cancellation Policy

a. Before Shipment

  • If you wish to cancel your order, you may do so before the order is shipped.

  • If your order has not been dispatched, we will cancel it, and the full amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.

b. After Shipment

  • Once your order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled. However, you can return the item(s) after delivery following our Return Policy.

2. Returns Policy

We offer a 10-day return window for eligible products, starting from the day you receive your order. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within this period.

a. Eligibility for Returns

  • Products must be in their original condition, unused, and with all tags, packaging, and accessories intact.
  • The product should be returned in the same condition in which it was delivered to you.
  • Items that have been used, washed, altered, or damaged due to improper handling will not be eligible for return.
  • Certain items, including customized products, personalized items, and sale or clearance items, are non-returnable unless they are defective or damaged upon receipt.

b. How to Initiate a Returns

  • After your return request is approved, we will guide you through the return process, including how to ship the product back to us.
  • Please ensure that the returned product is packed securely to avoid any damage during transit.

c. Return Shipping Charges

  • For Defective or Damaged Items: If the item you received is damaged or defective, we will bear the cost of return shipping.
  • For Other Reasons: If you are returning the item for reasons such as dissatisfaction or change of mind, the return shipping cost will be borne by you.

d. Refund Process

  • Once we receive the returned item and inspect it to ensure it meets our return conditions, we will initiate the refund process.
  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days after approval of the return.
  • Please note that any shipping charges paid at the time of placing the order are non-refundable.

3. Exchange Policy

If you wish to exchange a product, you can do so within the same 10-day return window from the date of delivery.

a. Eligibility for Exchanges

  • Products must be in their original condition, unused, with all original packaging, tags, and accessories intact.
  • Items that have been used, washed, altered, or damaged will not be eligible for exchange.
  • Exchanges are subject to the availability of the desired replacement item. If the requested product is unavailable, we will offer a refund or the option to choose an alternative product.

b. How to Initiate an Exchange

  • Once the exchange request is approved, we will provide you with instructions on how to send the original product back to us.

c. Exchange Shipping Charges

  • For Defective or Damaged Products: We will cover the shipping cost for the exchange if the product you received is defective or damaged.
  • For Other Reasons: If the exchange is due to size, color, or personal preference, you will be responsible for return shipping, and StampStory will cover the shipping cost of the replacement item.

d. Processing Time

  • After receiving and inspecting the returned product, we will ship the exchange product within 7-10 business days, subject to availability.

4. Non-Returnable and Non-Exchangeable Items

Certain products are not eligible for returns or exchanges unless they arrive damaged or defective. These include:

  • Customized or personalized products.
  • Items purchased during sales or promotions.

5. Damaged or Defective Products

We take great care to ensure that your products arrive in perfect condition. However, in the rare case that an item is damaged during shipping or arrives defective, we will resolve the issue at no extra cost.

a. Reporting a Damaged or Defective Product

  • If you receive a damaged or defective product, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product.
  • Send an email to info@stampstory.in with your order number, details of the damage or defect, and supporting photographs.

b. Replacement or Refund for Damaged Products

  • Once we verify the issue, we will offer either a replacement or a full refund, depending on your preference.
  • The refund or replacement will be processed within 7-10 business days after verifying the damaged product.

6. Refund Policy

  • Refunds for canceled orders (before shipment) and eligible returns will be processed within 7-10 business days after cancellation or after the returned product is received and inspected.
  • Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, bank account, etc.).
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be processed through bank transfer or as store credit, depending on your preference.
